Welcome Elven Hunters

We are an active Kin with approx 170 members found on the Lurelin [EN-RP] server. We are a light Role Playing Kin with Role Playing not a compulsory aspect of the kinship. Our main focus is to have fun, it is a game after all, but also to help each other out when needed. We hope to also have weekly kin meetings with skirmishes and raids happening too. In festival times or events of a social gathering for all in the game we hope to organise a group and enjoy it together. There may also be surprise abrupt events such as hikes through scenic areas to just enjoy this middle earth and take time away from the fight.

KINSHIP RP HISTORY:

It was in the Second Age. A lonely hunter, Feldunir Elorin, was hunting in the Golden Wood. He was alone. And as the sun comes down, it is getting colder. Feldunir thought he might see another target for his hunting. He slowly approached it. Suddenly he recognized that there was nothing and he heard a strange noise from the right side in the bushes. He immediately turned his had. A little goblin he saw there, doing something. Feldunir stood still, trying not to move. The goblin stopped to rummage around. It seems the goblin knew that someone is behind him. The little creature turned his head directly to the hunter. Starring at him. Not moving at all. Feldunir started to feel threatened by those green and cold eyes of this goblin. A short moment passed and the goblin ran away. Into the woods of Mirkwood. The hunter saw the darkness. The mist and dark woods scared Feldunir. He did not follow the goblin. Instead he visited Galadriel. Told her his feelings and the fear that he felt. Also when there was nothing to fear. Galadriel told him that she was feeling the same way. And something must be done. Who knows what lurks in those dark woods of Mirkwood or beyond. There has to be a protection. Galadriel invited more archers. A meeting was formed. There were not many good archers. Feldunir and Madox were called. And a task was given to them. They had to gather more archers and form a council. So the Archers of the Golden Wood were created. A kinship with elven archers inside. Feldunir traveled to many places. In the pony he found, Aiumdurr. Another very good hunter, who promised to be one of the Archers. So in this kinship you can find one of the best ones, that Galadriel can offer to protect the Golden Wood and maybe all of Middle-Earth.

How to recruit (for officers)

There are 2 possibilities for recruitment.

1)With macro:

Type /shortcut 1 /regional kintext

So 1 means that in your quickslot position 1 your shortcut will be places.
regional means that the kin recruitment message will be posted on the regional channel
kintext is your recruitment message. Instead of kintext you can use something like:
Suilad hunters! The elven kinship called the Archers of the Golden Wood is recruiting elven hunters. We offer helpful people, events, kinhouse, maxed rank.

2)With tells:

Tells are effective. But should be done once a week. Go to social tab and use the filter. Select only hunters class and type "elf" in the filter box and sort by kinship.
Now you will get a list of all elven hunters who are not in a kinship. Now you can send them a short tell. For example: Greetings hunter. The elven hunters kinship called the Archers of the Golden Wood is recruiting. Reply if interested.

Now you can copy this sentence and paste it to several hunters with tells.
